Q. What is #ImpactNC?
#ImpactNC is North Central College's Annual Day of Giving to benefit students, faculty and staff of North Central College.
Q. When is #ImpactNC?
#ImpactNC is on Thursday, February 24th at 12AM until Friday, February 25th at 12PM.
Q. Who can donate?
Anyone may donate. Donations through the #ImpactNC online are tax-deductible and cannot be refunded.
Q. How much of my donation goes to the college?
There is a 4% processing fee and a 2.5% +$0.30 Credit Card processing fees for all major credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover). You are given the option to cover the fees and if you choose this option, 100% of your online charitable gift will go to the designated fund. All donations are final and cannot be refunded.
Q. What funds can I direct my gift to?
There are over 300 funds available to select.
Q. What is GiveGab?
GiveGab is a nonprofit giving platform that helps nonprofits to raise money, engage donors and manage volunteers quickly and efficiently. GiveGab offers a full portfolio of simple and easy to use products that allows organizations to function in a more streamlined manner.
Q. I'm currently a student, how can I get involved?
You can go to the #ImpactNC page (search here) and look for Ambassador opportunities and ways to use your social media contacts to spread the word.
Q. If I am a faculty or staff member, can I participate?
Absolutely! We invite all North Central College employees to participate in #ImpactNC. You can donate online using a credit or debit card. You may also visit the #ImpactNC page (search here) and look for Ambassador opportunities and ways to use your social media contacts to spread the word.
Q. How can I challenge others to give?
If you would like to make a challenge gift, incentivizing others to also make a gift to #ImpactNC, please contact Jared Bogan M'10 at jbogan@noctrl.edu or 630-637-5267.
Q. How will donations be distributed?
Each donation made to an individual fund, department, team, etc. will be disbursed directly from GiveGab via direct deposit within 5 business days.
Q. Who will receive my contact information?
The fund you choose to support will have access to your name and email address. This information is used solely to send thank-you messages, provide the option to receive future notifications, and to notify you of future activities.
Q. Do I need to create an account with GiveGab?
No. You do not need to create an account to make a donation. However, the benefits of creating an account include having your tax receipts collected in one location, being able to track your donations, and engaging in future donation campaigns. Your tax receipt is emailed immediately upon the processing of your donation. To claim a donation as a deduction on U.S. taxes, you should retain the donation receipt as an official record.

Yes! Simply visit www.dayofgiving.northcentralcollege.edu on your mobile device.
Q. Can I give before or after February 24, 2022?
